Oriental Pork Tenderloin

The Oriental Pork Tenderloin is a LOW-FAT Asian-style dish.
O ha! Hume-healthy tayo ngayon. :-)

Serves 1
Prep Time  10 minutes
Cooking Time 30 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 120 g pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrots, thinly slice
  • 1 pc red bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 stalk spring onions, chopped
  • 2 pcs garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger
  • Aluminum foil

Cooking Procedure:
  1. Remove most of the stems from the broccoli (leaving mostly the flowering part).
  2. Preheat grill. Place tenderloin on hot grill and sear the outside making good grill marks.
  3. Grill about 10 minutes.
  4. Slice tenderloin into 1/4 inch slices.
  5. Place the pork, broccoli, red pepper and onions in the center of one piece of foil.
  6. Season with soy sauce, sesame oil and ginger. (I marinated the meat in the mixture for a quick 5 minutes before I put it with the other ingredients. It makes the flavor stick to the meat more.)
  7. Fold and seal foil. Place on hot grill for 10-12 minutes.

This one is really easy and yet so yummy. The soy sauce, sesame oil and bell pepper give it that distinct Asian taste. Panalo! I recommend you try it! :-)

Btw, this has much vegetables because it's for a diet program. You can always lessen the veggies, but why would you? It's good for your health. :-)
